About Morgan
Morgan K. Lawrence was called to the bar in 2020 and has defended criminal matters before the Provincial Court, the Court of King's Bench, and the Court of Appeal of Manitoba, as well as appearing before the License Suspension Appeal Board and the Disciplinary Court of Stony Mountain Institution. She began her studies at the University of Regina, earning a degree in Human Justice with a concentration in Criminal and Restorative Justice, then studied International Law at Leiden University in the Netherlands before completing law school at the University of Manitoba. In 2024 she was appointed to the Manitoba Health Appeal Board, and she volunteers with Oshki-Giizhig, the Elizabeth Fry Society, and Palliative Manitoba.
