About Monique

Monique Rae Bennett grew up in Kenora, Ontario, and graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1987 with a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Psychology and Sociology. Bennett earned an LLB from the University of Windsor in 1990, articled in Windsor, and was called to the Ontario Bar in February 1992. Bennett practised litigation with Nicholson Smith for 10 years before opening a law firm on October 31, 2001, and has been a sole practitioner for more than 20 years. Bennett has presented cases throughout Ontario, including before the Ontario Court of Appeal and in arbitrations, and has represented clients from other Canadian provinces and several U.S. states. Bennett is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Middlesex Law Association, and the Middlesex Family Law Association.
