Monick Grenier practices civil litigation and criminal defence at Grenier Law, the firm she operates in Ottawa. She spent more than 20 years working in various capacities in civil litigation, including at plaintiff personal injury and insurance defence firms and for a major North American insurer, before being called to the Ontario bar in 2012. She earned her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Master of Divinity from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto in 2006, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Carleton University in 1998, and a Licentiate in Law from the University of Ottawa after returning to Ottawa in 2013. She represented more than 22 participants in the 2022 Freedom Convoy protests through the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, with none of her clients convicted at trial. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the County of Carleton Law Association, the Christian Legal Fellowship, the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Métis Nation of Ontario.
