About Mitchell
Mitchell Besner is a retired lawyer and the former head of the wills and estates group at Merovitz Potechin LLP. Over more than 30 years in practice, he advised individuals, families, physicians, and businesses on wills and estates, corporate law, and real estate. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 1988 and practised in Ottawa from 1992, when he was also called to the Ontario Bar. He holds an LL.B. and an LL.L. from the University of Ottawa and a B.A. in politics from the University of Western Ontario.
