About Missy
Missy Garska maintains a general business law practice focused on commercial lending, commercial real estate and commercial leasing, acting for both borrowers and lenders in private and commercial financing transactions. She assists developers, builders and purchasers throughout the development process, negotiates leases for landlords including Crown corporations, and drafts contracts such as purchase agreements, condominium disclosure packages and shareholder agreements. Missy earned her JD from the University of Alberta in 2021, after completing a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Bachelor of Education in 2013, and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2022. She coaches the University of Alberta's Davies Corporate/Securities Moot team and serves on the board of the Edmonton International Film Festival. Prior to joining Witten, she practised at a regional law firm.
