About Mikal

Mikal Sokolowski is an associate with Restall & Restall LLP, practising corporate and commercial law, residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates, employment law, and uncontested family law matters. He grew up in Winnipeg's Elmwood/East Kildonan area and earned a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba before working in human resources. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Robson Hall at the University of Manitoba, graduating with the third-highest standing in his class, and served as President of the Manitoba Law Students' Association and head student editor of the Manitoba Law Journal. He has begun an LLM in International Commercial Law and Practice at the University of Edinburgh and lectures on business law at the Asper School of Business.
