About Michael
Michael Volpatti is the co-managing partner of Brattys LLP, practicing commercial real estate and financial services with more than 30 years of experience. He handles commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing and syndication, with a particular focus on mixed-use condominium development and commercial real estate lending, advising institutional and entrepreneurial purchasers, vendors, lenders and developers. He holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a BSc in Engineering from the University of Toronto, an LLB from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and an LLM in Real Property Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994. Outside the firm, Michael is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, sits on the board of a local long-term care facility, and lectures for continuing legal education programs on commercial real estate.
