About Michael

Michael Niren is President and Managing Partner of VisaPlace Legal Canada, an immigration law firm based in Toronto, and also serves as CEO of VisaPlace LLC and its US affiliate. He is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association's Citizenship and Immigration Section, and an associate member of the American Bar Association. Michael is frequently called upon as a media commentator on immigration issues, with appearances and interviews across Canadian and American outlets including CTV, Global News, the Globe and Mail, and the Toronto Star. He has also written on immigration topics for outlets such as the Huffington Post. Under his leadership, VisaPlace has processed thousands of visa applications for individuals and businesses across Canada and the United States.
