About Alisha
Alisha Rice is an associate at Gorham Vandebeek LLP, where she represents clients facing a range of criminal charges. She completed her undergraduate studies with distinction in the Honours Criminology program at Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly Ryerson, and later earned her Juris Doctor along with a Dispute Resolution and Professionalism certificate from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law. While in school, she served on the Youth Advisory Committee at Kids with Incarcerated Parents Canada, mentoring children affected by a parent's incarceration. Before joining the firm, she articled and summered at well-known criminal defence firms in Toronto. Raised in Montreal, Alisha is fluent in both English and French. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 and belongs to the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
