About Melissa

Melissa Conte is a senior associate at Barriston Law who focuses on residential and commercial real estate, mortgages and financing, business and corporate law, and wills and estates. She joined the firm in 2026 after practising at Alousis Law Professional Corporation since being called to the bar in 2015, building extensive experience as a solicitor along the way. Her work also touches on land development matters such as severances and land titles applications. Melissa completed an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto in 2011 before earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2014. She stays involved in the local community and currently sits on the board of Empower Simcoe.
