About Melina

Melina Amirsharafi joined Alexander Holburn as a summer student in May 2026, coming from the UBC Peter A. Allard School of Law. Before law school she completed an Honours Bachelor of Commerce at the UBC Sauder School of Business, specializing in marketing and international business, including a semester abroad at Korea University Business School in Seoul. She has a particular interest in real estate law, aviation law, and commercial litigation, and worked as a law tutor and legal researcher with the UBC Sauder Real Estate Division, updating course content for real estate licensure textbooks. She also completed a Corporate Counsel externship with the Vancouver Airport Authority. Melina has served as a Clinic Head with the Law Students' Legal Advice Program, as a student senator on the UBC Senate, and in various UBC student government roles, and she received the Peter A. Allard School of Law Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Scholarship.
