About Melania
Melania Soudouk is an associate in the firm's estates and trusts department, bringing a thoughtful, client-focused approach grounded in empathy along with a background in public policy. She earned a Master's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Guelph in 2021, publishing a research paper on sexual assault sentencing, before completing her JD at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2024 and being called to the bar in 2025 after articling at a boutique estates firm in Toronto. During law school she served as an associate editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, worked as a student caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services representing clients before the Social Benefits Tribunal, and held an executive role with the Osgoode Women's Network. Her interest in elder law and estates began through volunteering with the Pro Bono Students Canada GTA Wills Project, drafting wills and powers of attorney for underserved community members.
