About Adekola

Adekola Olawoye leads Pillarstone Law Practice. He specializes in family law, advising on parenting time, child and spousal support, divorce, equalization of property, and decision-making responsibility, and also practises immigration law, including temporary visa applications, permanent residence applications, and refugee claims. He also takes on child protection, landlord and tenant disputes, civil litigation, and criminal matters. Before founding Pillarstone Law Practice, he worked at Creighton Law LLP. He was called to the bar in Nigeria, where he practised for more than 10 years in commercial litigation, insolvency, taxation, and criminal law, before requalifying as a lawyer in Ontario. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Durham Region Law Association, the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria, and the Nigerian Bar Association's Lagos Branch.
