About Sarah
Sarah Shipley focuses her practice on wills and estates at Jenkins & Newman, which she joined in 2011. She grew up in Durham and lived in Whitby for over twenty years before moving to Clarington. After a paralegal diploma from Durham College, she studied law in England, earning her degree from the University of Essex in 2006, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2009. She regularly speaks and writes for the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Ontario on wills and estates topics, and presents to groups including the Lakeridge Health Network and the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region. Sarah has volunteered for over a decade with the Youth Justice Committee, serves on the Bowmanville Hospital Planned Giving Committee, and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
