About Medina

Medina Abdelkader is a graduate of the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, called to the British Columbia bar in January 2023. She also holds a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science. Before entering the legal sector she worked as a design strategist for corporate clients and later as a Service Designer for the Government of Alberta's Digital Innovation Office, designing virtual courts and court case management software. She is an advocate for human-centred legal services, access to justice, and data-informed decision-making across the legal system.
