About Maxine

Maxine has practised law for more than 26 years, with earlier work spanning employment, human rights, business, tax, immigration, health, and family law. Today her focus is on the sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties, refinancing and mortgages, corporate and commercial law, investment law, and estate planning and administration, along with wills and powers of attorney. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and Literature, along with a legal education certificate from Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica and an LLB from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill campus. She belongs to the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario and Canadian Bar Associations, and the Jamaican Bar, and is a member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers and the York Region Law Association.
