About Matthew

Matthew Blunt earned his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2017 and joined Patersons LLP that year as an articling student, becoming an associate after his call to the bar. His practice covers corporate and commercial matters, real estate transactions, and estate and succession planning. While in law school he worked with the WMU-Cooley Innocence Project, where he helped secure DNA testing that excluded a client and set the stage for a new trial. He has also published on insurance law questions related to autonomous vehicles in the Willamette Law Review.
