About Matthew

Matthew practices criminal law as an associate at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP. He articled as a judicial law clerk at the Superior Court of Justice in the Central West Region, helping judges with criminal, civil and family files. He then spent a year in the United Kingdom on the Harold G. Fox Education Fund Scholarship, working in prominent London barristers' chambers and gaining advocacy training through the Inns of Court. He earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating with numerous awards and achieving the top mark in the Intensive Program in Criminal Law. While at Osgoode he served as a Dean's Fellow and an executive of the Criminal Law Society, and worked as a research assistant on publications about criminal procedure and torts. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2023.
