About Matthew

Matthew Bilmes helps small and medium-sized business owners optimize the tax structure of their companies throughout the business lifecycle. He also advises commercial clients and owner-operators going through a sale or family succession process to secure the most advantageous tax outcome, and speaks regularly to private-sector business groups on emerging tax and business law developments. Bilmes is a member of several professional associations, including the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation, and maintains ties to his alma maters, McGill University's Faculty of Law and Concordia University's John Molson School of Business.
