Matt Chapman represents both employers and employees in employment law matters, which has given him insight into the concerns and risk tolerance on each side of a dispute. He began his career in commercial litigation and remains prepared to argue cases in court when needed, having appeared in courts across Ontario, including the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal, as well as before the Supreme Court of Canada. He also handles executive compensation matters, such as contract negotiations, severance disputes, and equity compensation arrangements. Chapman focuses on giving clients direct and practical legal advice regarding employment issues.
