About Mash

Mash Frouhar is the founding partner of Frouhar Law and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009. Before founding her own firm, she worked as an Assistant Crown Attorney and as a defence lawyer with Legal Aid Ontario, and later spent years with an established Ottawa criminal defence firm. She has conducted numerous trials involving human trafficking, murder, attempted murder, driving offences, drugs, sexual assault, and domestic offences, and regularly travels throughout Eastern Ontario to represent clients. Mash holds a B.A. in Criminology and an LL.B. from the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law. She has taught Criminal Law at a local community college and mentors students at moot court competitions, and she is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Criminal Lawyers Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa, the Defence Counsel Association of Brockville, and the County of Carleton Law Association. She offers services in English, French, and Farsi.
