About Connie

Connie D'Angelo was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1993 and has practiced exclusively in criminal law for over thirty years, defending some of the highest-profile cases in Canada and Ontario, including politicians, police officers, athletes, celebrities, and regulated professionals. She has extensive experience with impaired driving, motor vehicle fatalities, homicides, drug offences, sexual offences, violent offences, white collar crime, and representing police officers in Police Services Act disciplinary hearings and Special Investigations Unit matters. She completed a Bachelor of Social Science in Criminology at the University of Ottawa, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1988, followed by the Common Law program at the University of Ottawa, also Magna Cum Laude, in 1991, and completed the Foundations of Judicial Competencies Certificate Program with the Ontario Bar Association in 2021. Connie is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Criminal Lawyers Association, the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa, and the American DUI Defense Lawyers Association. She provides services in both English and Italian.
