About Mary

Mary Rose Farag joined CILF's Toronto office in June 2026 after practicing immigration and refugee law at a boutique firm, where she prepared work permit, permanent residence, refugee claim, and humanitarian and compassionate applications, and represented clients before the Refugee Protection Division. She articled in employment and labour law before shifting her focus to immigration. She graduated with distinction from the University of Ottawa's combined Political Science and French Juris Doctor program in 2023 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2024. She's a member of the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association and the Refugee Lawyers Association.
