About Mary-Anne
Mary-Anne Strong is a senior partner at Beckett Personal Injury Lawyers and leads the firm's Plaintiff Injury Group. Mary-Anne Strong has represented people injured in motor vehicle collisions and slip and fall accidents since being called to the Ontario Bar in 2002, and also represents clients in disputes with their own insurers over long-term disability and statutory accident benefits. Mary-Anne Strong has handled fatality cases on behalf of families who lost loved ones in motor vehicle collisions and has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the License Appeal Tribunal, and the Ontario Court of Appeal, including the case Van Bastelaar v. Bentley et al. Mary-Anne Strong was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Windsor, and obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Western University. In 2023, Mary-Anne Strong was appointed to the Ontario Civil Rules Committee, and she has served on the board of directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association since 2019, being named its President for 2025/2026.
