About Mark

Mark Smith earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance from the University of Saskatchewan in 2016, where he played for the Huskies football team, then worked in finance before pursuing law. He graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2021, articled in Lethbridge, Alberta at a full-service firm, and joined HMC Lawyers after being admitted to the Alberta bar in 2022. During law school he placed second as part of the University of Saskatchewan's team in the 2021 Western Canada Family Law Competition and received the Douglas A. Schmeiser Prize in Constitutional Law.
