About Mark
Mark Crossfield was born and raised in Calgary and completed undergraduate degrees in history and education at the University of Victoria in the 1970s before teaching for the Foothills Board of Education and the Calgary School Board. He earned his law degree from the University of Wales in 1980, was called to the Bar of British Columbia in January 1982, and was called to the Bar of Alberta in July 1983. Since 1983 he has run a general practice as a sole practitioner, focusing on real estate, wills and estates, corporate, matrimonial, personal injury, and litigation matters. He has also taught as a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law and Haskayne School of Business, and as an instructor for the Law Society of Alberta on residential real estate. He is a member of the Alberta Bar Association and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and has volunteered with Calgary Legal Guidance and served on several nonprofit boards.
