About Marisha
Marisha N. Paquin is a Partner at Kanuka Thuringer LLP based in Swift Current, carrying on a general practice with a particular interest in fertility law, wills and estates, and agricultural law. Coming from a farming family in southwest Saskatchewan, she assists clients with farm succession planning and agriculture-related business relationships, and regularly advises on estate planning and administration, including wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, and probate applications. Paquin is one of the province's pioneering fertility law practitioners, having assisted more than one hundred couples and individuals with surrogacy and fertility law matters, working with intended parents, surrogates, and egg and sperm donors on gamete donation and surrogacy agreements, birth registration, and parentage declarations, for both domestic and international clients. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with High Honours from the University of Saskatchewan (2009) and a J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan (2012), and was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2013.
