About Mariel

Bailon holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.B.) from the Université de Sherbrooke, obtained in 2022. Of Latin American origin, she developed an early interest in immigration law. As a student she volunteered at the Clinique juridique du Grand Montréal, offering free consultations, particularly in immigration matters. She was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2024 and began her practice in economic immigration law, while retaining a strong interest in humanitarian immigration, an area she hopes to further develop at Semperlex. She focuses on attentive, personalized client support and aims to help protect the rights of immigrant women who are victims of violence.
