Founding Lawyer, Managing Partner at Fast & Company Law Firm
Marie-Louise Fast is the founding lawyer and managing partner of Fast & Company Law Firm. She was called to the BC Bar in 1984, and holds a Bachelor of Law degree (1983) and a Bachelor of Arts (1980), both from the University of British Columbia. In 1988, she founded Fast & Company in Richmond, BC, building a practice focused on probate and estate administration, real estate law, and corporate law. Fluent in German, she assists German-speaking clients located internationally who require an estate grant to transfer or sell property in British Columbia, including resealing and ancillary grants for executors in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. She helped develop Relex, a system integrating legal and real estate services for clients during property transactions. Fast is a member of the Law Society of BC and the Canadian Bar Association, has lectured for the People's Law School and Continuing Legal Education, and participates in the Pro Bono Legal Aid clinic. She has also volunteered for over 25 years with More Than a Roof Housing Society and the Mennonite Intermediate Care Home Society of Richmond.
