About Marie-Geneviève

Marie-Geneviève Masson has more than 25 years of experience, beginning in commercial litigation and moving into commercial law and corporate governance. Masson regularly acts as in-house counsel support for clients on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, including service, transportation, logistics, supply and commercial lease contracts, and advises management teams on corporate governance matters. Masson also handles litigation matters, including representation before civil and administrative tribunals, and assists clients with investigations conducted by regulators such as the Autorité des marchés financiers. Masson began a career in the legal departments of a pharmaceutical company and a legal publishing house, then practised for 15 years in the litigation group at Langlois Lawyers before joining Delegatus. Masson has been recognized in the Best Lawyers in Canada directory in commercial litigation and in director and officer liability, and was named a rising star by Benchmark Litigation Canada. Masson holds an LL.B. from Université de Montréal, obtained in 1996.
