About Maria

Maria Mach is an associate at L. Johnson Law Group, which she joined in January 2023. She previously worked as in-house counsel and privacy officer for a large charity based in Alberta, and as an associate at a mid-sized general practice firm in Abbotsford. Her background as in-house counsel gives her an understanding of the day-to-day challenges facing charities, and her practice serves charities, non-profits, businesses and individuals. Mach also volunteers on the boards of charitable organizations and speaks at legal education seminars. She completed her law degree at the University of Ottawa, having previously studied International and Comparative Politics, and Second Language Teaching, also at the University of Ottawa.
