About Marc
Marc chairs the firm's Tax Department and has spent more than 20 years advising on domestic and international tax matters. He works as a strategic tax and corporate advisor for entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, companies, owner-managers and family offices. His practice covers tax-driven corporate reorganizations, cross-border transactions between Canada and the U.S., and succession and estate planning for family businesses, including trusts, offshore structures and post-mortem tax planning. Marc also represents clients in dealings with the Canada Revenue Agency, including audits, appeals and voluntary disclosures. On the corporate side, he handles mergers, acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate financings and shareholder agreements.
