Administrative & Regulatory LawMara K. Pollock is a senior lawyer with over 25 years of experience in Indigenous and environmental law across both public institutions and private practice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from McGill University, a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies from McGill, and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Windsor, where she also completed a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution in 2013. She was called to the bar in Ontario in 2000 and in Yukon in 2010. Before founding Pollock Law in 2017, she worked as legal counsel for Justice Canada from 2000 to 2013, as in-house counsel for the Yukon Environmental and Socio-Economic Assessment Board from 2013 to 2017, and as legal counsel for the Yukon Department of Justice from 2009 to 2011. She currently serves as the presiding coroner for the Yukon Coroner's Service and sits on the Law Society of Yukon's Discipline Committee, and chairs the Yukon Public Legal Education Association.
