About Manpreet
Manpreet Bains grew up in Surrey, BC and is the first lawyer in his family, drawn to the profession by an interest in justice. He earned a BA in political science from Simon Fraser University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney in Australia, then returned to Surrey after being called to the British Columbia bar, joining Sovereign Law Group in early 2024. His litigation practice covers estates, construction, family law, residential tenancy, and debt collection and creditors' remedies matters. He favours settlement and alternative dispute resolution where possible but is prepared to litigate when needed.
