About Parmdeep
Parmdeep Taunk is a criminal defence lawyer at Sovereign Law Group. Born in Surrey, BC in 1993, he developed an interest in criminal law during high school and went on to earn an honours degree in criminology from Simon Fraser University before completing a Juris Doctor, with a criminal justice certificate, at Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law. He articled with established criminal lawyers before being called to the bar and has since handled matters ranging from assault and driving offences to theft and fraud, from initial appearances through sentencing.
