About Mani
Mani Sandhu is Associate Counsel at Basra Law Group, which he joined in 2017. He obtained an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University and a law degree from the University of Alberta, where he gained experience at the university's Criminal Law Clinic. He was called to the Bar of British Columbia in January 2007 and spent his early career as a sole practitioner focused on criminal defence. In 2012 he formed Mani Sandhu and Associates Law Corporation with a focus on general litigation before joining Basra Law Group. He has conducted several hundred trials, both judge-alone and jury, in the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and has volunteered with the New Westminster Police Service.
