About Madison

Madison Steenson is a lawyer at Robertson LLP with a general civil litigation practice, including a focus on sports and entertainment and intellectual property disputes. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Calgary in 2015 and a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2018. After returning to Calgary, she completed her articles in 2019 and practiced with a boutique litigation firm, appearing before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen's Bench, and the Federal Court of Canada at trial. During law school she co-authored 'A Post-Brexit Impact: A Case Study on the English Premier League,' published in the Harvard Sports and Entertainment Journal in 2019, and presented her findings at the Play The Game Conference in 2017.
