About Maddison

Maddison Croden is a partner at Reynolds Mirth Richards & Farmer LLP practising media and defamation law, privacy law, employment law and professional regulatory law. Before her articles with the firm, she clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal, and has since appeared before all three levels of court in Alberta, the Court of Appeal of Saskatchewan, and the Supreme Court of Canada on leave applications. Maddison assists employers and employees with termination and human-resource disputes, advises regulatory bodies on disciplinary and legislative matters, and assists media organizations and individuals with defamation claims. She coaches the Wilson Moot at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, and earned her BA and JD, both with Distinction, from the University of Alberta, being admitted to the Alberta bar in 2021. She volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and is a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
