About M.
Jenny McMordie has practised civil litigation since her bar call in 2000. She worked at a boutique firm and a large national firm before joining West End Legal Centre in 2009. She has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta and before various tribunals, though her focus, where possible, is on helping clients resolve disputes through mediation and other less adversarial processes. In recent years her practice has concentrated on serious personal injury and fatality cases, along with estate and commercial litigation. She is a past President of the Canadian Bar Association's Alberta Branch, volunteers with the Alberta Lawyers Assistance Society, and mentors junior colleagues through the CBA, Assist, and the Law Society. She belongs to the Association of Women Lawyers, the Canadian Bar Association, the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, and the Calgary Bar Association.
