About Lorne

Lorne Fagnan is a partner at McKercher LLP's Saskatoon office who leads the firm's Indigenous Practice Group, working with First Nations entities, renewable energy developers, nonprofits, and corporations on governance, economic development, employment, estates, and real estate. He completed a provincial court clerkship in 2016 and is licensed in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba. A member of Pine Creek First Nation, he serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Saskatoon and has lectured at the University of Saskatchewan since 2022. Lorne earned a Bachelor of Arts with high honours in History from the University of Saskatchewan in 2013 and a Juris Doctor in 2016.
