About Lorne

Lorne Dunn is a long-time partner at HSJ Lawyers who returned to his hometown of Prince George after his schooling in Vancouver. He practices personal injury and motor vehicle accident law, forestry law, and general litigation, and ICBC has appointed him designated counsel for complex matters including under-insured motorist coverage, serious brain injury, and fraud cases. He's the immediate past president of the Prince George Bar Association and a former director of the B.C. Law Institute, and he was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2013. Outside the office, Lorne coaches basketball, hockey, and fastball, and has coached three provincial championship fastball teams. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia in 1983 and a Bachelor of Laws from UBC in 1986.
