About Alexa
Alexa Hopwood is an associate at HSJ Lawyers who returned to the firm after completing her summer articles there in 2022. A 2023 graduate of the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law, she was a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and tutored first-year law students in reading case law and writing memos. She's originally from Prince George and volunteered with the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund's annual fundraiser gala during law school. Alexa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2019 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2023.
