About David

David Jenkins, known as Dave, is Associate Counsel at HSJ Lawyers and one of the firm's founding partners, having helped establish the practice in 1971 with Robin Heather and Murray Sadler. He has practiced criminal law throughout Central and Northern British Columbia since 1968, appearing in nearly every Provincial Court in the province as well as the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. His caseload has included murder, arson, sexual assault, and Wildlife Act offences, along with extensive experience in drug offences and impaired driving charges. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1992 and was inducted into the Prince George Sports Hall of Fame in 2012. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta in 1964 and a Bachelor of Laws from the same school in 1967.
