About Lori

Lori St. Croix has extensive experience in criminal trial practice, both as a Crown prosecutor and as defence counsel. She worked as a Crown Attorney with Public Prosecutions in Corner Brook for more than 12 years before joining Legal Aid NL as a staff solicitor in criminal defence in 2021. She has appeared in the Provincial and Supreme Courts on criminal matters across Newfoundland and Labrador and intends to expand her practice into civil litigation. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Ottawa in 2004 and an LLB with a specialization in environmental law from Dalhousie University in 2008, and has been a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador in good standing since June 2009.
