About Deanne

Deanne Penney focuses her practice on personal injury, real estate, and wills and estate planning. She has practiced law in Newfoundland and Labrador for over 28 years, beginning her career at a large Atlantic firm based in St. John's, where she worked in insurance and construction law and appeared before the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Court of Appeal. She moved to Corner Brook in 2004 and was called to the bar in Newfoundland and Labrador in 1993. Penney holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-Op) from Memorial University and a law degree from the University of New Brunswick. She is a director of the Corner Brook Port Corporation and a member of the Atlantic Trial Lawyers Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
