About Liane

Liane Brown has dedicated her practice entirely to representing injured clients and their families, handling cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, product liability and medical malpractice. She also represents people who have been cut off by their long-term disability insurer and regularly appears before the License Appeal Tribunal on Statutory Accident Benefits disputes. Liane sits on the board of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Compassionate Justice Fund, which funds rehabilitation and support services for those without access to them. She earned her honours bachelor's degree from the University of Guelph and her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, where she received the Torkin Manes Cohen and Arbus award and the Charles J. Clark scholarship. Liane was called to the bar in 2013 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2023.
