About Lian

Lian Francis holds a law degree and a Juris Doctor in common law from McGill University, where she also completed a bachelor's degree in psychology, and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2022. During her studies she was involved with the McGill Legal Information Clinic and worked as a research assistant in transnational labour law, and before joining the firm in 2022 she completed her bar training at the Federal Court, gaining experience in immigration, refugee, and administrative law. Her practice focuses on collective and individual labour relations and human rights, and she practises in both English and French.
