About Shaina

Shaina Bronfen is a Montreal lawyer and mediator who has practised family law for more than thirty years. She is an accredited family mediator and accredited civil and commercial mediator with the Barreau du Québec, a board member of the Quebec Collaborative Law Group since 2015, and a Toronto Roster Mediator under Ontario's Mandatory Mediation Program. She was part of Quebec's first training group in collaborative family law and interned with the Montreal courthouse's family mediation service. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University and a Bachelor of Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, along with an undergraduate degree in agricultural science from McGill. Her practice covers collaborative divorce, family mediation, family litigation and estate disputes, with an emphasis on resolving conflict outside the courtroom whenever possible.
