About Lara
Lara Fitzgerald-Husek is a partner at Oatley Vigmond whose practice is devoted entirely to personal injury work. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and went on to complete a Juris Doctor and an MPA at Queen's University, and she was called to the bar in 2013. Before joining the firm she practised insurance defence for a national firm, gaining insight into how insurers assess claims that she now uses to advocate for injured clients. Her files include car crash claims, accident benefits disputes, medical negligence cases, occupier's and product liability matters, and long-term disability litigation. She belongs to the Advocates' Society, the Ontario Bar Association and the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto and regularly speaks at their events.
