About Kyle

Kyle Dear practices primarily in civil litigation, with a focus on insurance litigation including general defence, construction, professional errors and omissions, product liability, subrogation and coverage, along with pension law and Indigenous law (specific claims). Called to the Manitoba Bar in 2000 after earning an LL.B. and B.A. (Honours) from the University of Manitoba, Kyle Dear has appeared before all levels of court in Manitoba and the Supreme Court of Canada. Kyle Dear has served on numerous Law Society of Manitoba committees and is currently serving as President of the Law Society (May 2025-present).
